Alana spent the beggining of her career as a Digital Marketing Professional at Boston University earning honors from the Dean for her Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall, 2020, and Spring 2021 semesters.
From June to August of 2020 Alana served as a Customer Service Rep at HelpDesk Inc. where she resolved over 500 customer issues, ,aintained a 95% satisfacion rated througout her time there, and developed an FAQ for the company website which reduced incoming inquiries by 15%. She also led the Customer Feedback Initiative project which led to the identification and resolution of 3 major product bugs.
Then in September of 2020 Alana started working as a Retail Sales Associate at Fashion Forward Boutique. She acheived "Employee of the Month" twice in recognition of her outstanding customer service and ability to exceed sales targets. She also assisted in visual merchandising & inventory. Alana led the Fashion Forward Boutique's Winter Sales Campaign which saw increased revenue by 25% over the previous year.
In June of 2021 and August 2021, Alana was a Social Media Intern at Trendsetters Agency where she significantly grew the company's presence on Instagram and Facebook, acheiving a 20% increase in followers and boosting overall social media engagment. Alana led the Instagram Growth Campaign in which she developed a content strategy that increased follower engagement by 30% and gained 2,000 new folllowers in 2 months
